BUNBURY MEN OF SONG

Here are some of the things people have said about the choir and its performances.

2003

Mother's Day Concert - Anne & George - Wonderful must have more

Lorraine & Tom - What a wonderful idea of having and all male choir in the South West. Keep up the good work guys.

Spring Recital - Stuart & Bubs - What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon, you must come back

Leeuwin Estate - Rotarian Organiser Steve - Absolutely fabulous. Wonderful to hear such great singing.

Narrogin Choral Festival - The Bunbury Men of Song's rendition of "The Battle Hymn" was voted best song of the whole Festival

2007

As you know, the Committee has given a lot of thought to Repertoire.  A woman with a fetish for carpenters has recommended we sing her favourite song: “True Love is a Many-Splintered Thing”.  So far though, this suggestion has drawn a plank. - Trevor Riley

And while we are on the subject of communication and feed-back, here are some unsolicited comments gleaned from the audience at the Augusta Concert:

  1. Why don’t they get those three Rock and Roll guys to sing with the choir?
  2. That was the best concert we have had in Augusta since The Ten Tenors!
  3. Thank you for the lovely concert; a fabulous variety programme.
  4. I would like to congratulate your group on an excellent Concert ……  We have had some glowing reports from around Augusta, and the varied program was very appropriate.
  5. Augusta Singers have only one male voice; would any BMOS guys consider a sea-change to join us?
  6. How lucky is the choir to have 2 such lovely ladies with them.  Louise was marvellous on piano and Myra had excellent rapport with the men.  Her animated direction was excellent.
  7. The MD does a brilliant job in bringing out the variation in mood and expression of each piece.
  8. Two Busselton couples saw the notices in The Busselton Margaret River Times, made the trip, said it was really worthwhile and regretted that they don’t have a similar venue for such a performance in Busselton.
  9. I didn’t have a program.  An announcer would have helped but I liked the Concert.
  10. Don’t they have a summer uniform?  We could see the sweat running off them.
